Frank Reed Horton Memorial Lodge No. 379 Anniversary

The brethren of lodge 379 paid a courtesy call to MW Juanito Abergas, Grand Master of Masons of the Philippines.

As part of the 3rd Anniversary celebration of Frank Reed Horton Memorial Lodge no. 379, the Brethren also conducted a Dental Mission to some 148 residents of Brgy. North Fairview, Quezon City in the morning of May 15, 2011, a Sunday.

Through the indispensable cooperation of our brethren-dentists from other lodges namely; VW Allan Bontuyan (Andres Bonifacio Lodge No. 199), Bro. Ferdie Limchangco (Capitol City Lodge No. 174) and Bro. Cary Bryan Ong (Lodge Perla del Oriente No. 1034, S.C.), who were wooed by Worshipful Master Robert Sing, we were able to give free dental services and medicines to our less fortunate countrymen.

Fellowship followed at the residence of Bro. Nestor Mendoza where the brethren had lunch a la boodle fight, with brethren and petitioners feasting on bare hands. Said WM Robert Sing ” Thank you Brethren for coming in today’s dental mission. I know that you are still tired from last night’s anniversary celebration, and I know that I have stolen your time from your families today as this is a Sunday. Allow me then to thank you and your family for making sacrifices for the lodge and humanity.”

Frank Reed Horton Memorial Lodge Subic Family Outing 2009

The brethren of Frank Reed Horton Memorial Lodge #379 took a well deserved summer break with family in Subic, Zambalez. Cammaraderie and Fellowship was the order of that day and was made all the more special because it was also the eve of Ateng Cherry’s birthday! The resourceful Entered Apprentice Masons Col. Belli Tamayo and Jose Illenberger had to buy a birthday cake late at night in Olongapo City at the behest of Worshipful Master Sammy Laus and at exactly midnight presented it to the surprised Ateng to the merriment of everyone especially the birthday celebrant.
